Fire Control

Fort Knox Records Management employs stringent management controls, infrastructure, training and dedicated service technicians to protect your valuable company records.

All of our sites are directly linked to the fire brigade and are monitored by Grade 1 centres. Weekly tests ensure all our equipment is serviced to Australian regulation and working reliably if they are needed.

To minimise any loss in an emergency, Fort Knox staff receive regular training in the use of fire fighting equipment and disaster management procedures.

Our Fire Control system includes:

• Sprinkler system throughout the entire facility
• VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Alert). This system samples the air on a continuing basis and can detect fire at the pre-combustion stage
• Smoke detectors
• Direct link to the fire brigade
• Fire fighting equipment
• Fire and disaster management training for employees
• Online service manuals that document our weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual inspections.
